Our expansive ranches in Montana, Wyoming and Utah provide ideal natural habitat for mule deer herds. Careful biological assessment combined with selective harvest allows these bucks to mature to trophy potential in much larger numbers.
Guaranteed tags are available in Utah and Montana we will gladly submit you for the draw in Wyoming. Utah
Our CWMU rifle deer hunts run from September 1st – October 31st with a variance of up to November 10th on some units. Most of our ranches are in the CWMU program AKA Cooperative wildlife management Unit this enables you to obtain your tags directly from us. Our ranches that are not enrolled CWMU program are in general season tag units Northern, Northeastern and central the draw deadline for these units January 16th however if you did not apply in time the northern or northern eastern units do have leftover permits that the will be available on a first come first serve basis shortly after the results are made public. Archery season is Aug 18th –Sept 14th, Rifle season Oct 20th - 28th and Muzzleloader Sept 26th - Oct 4th. Our guided hunts are five consecutive hunting days with food & lodging included hunters will fly into SLC international airport where they can arrange for pick up or rent a car.
Nonresident license fee $263
Wyoming
In Wyoming all hunters are subject to the lottery system. All of our ranches are located in regions, which makes them much easer to draw then units. In 2006 depending on the ranch the odds of drawing a tag for one of our hunts was between 74%-100%. If you have any preference points you should be almost guaranteed to draw. Archery season is September 1st – 30th. Our rifle hunts in the south western part of the state are Oct 1st 8th guided hunts are four consecutive hunting days with food and lodging included you will fly into SLC international rent a car and make a 2 hr drive east on I-80 near the town of Evanston. For our ranches located in the northern part of the state archery season is also Sept 1st- 30th. Rifle season is Oct 15th – 31st. Our guided hunts are five consecutive hunting days. Hunters will fly into Sheridan Wyoming where pickup will be arranged

Montana
R&K Hunting Company utilizes the outfitter sponsored licensed program in this state guaranteeing you a tag if you have submitted your license application by march15th. For the rifle season all of our ranches but one are in the general tag units. This means if you have booked a rifle hunt with us you will be assured a spot in the upcoming season. Archery hunting also takes place through the license-sponsoring program enabling you a guaranteed spot for the upcoming season. Rifle season starts the 21st of October ending on the 25th of November. Archery season will start September 1st ending the 14th of October. Guided hunts are 5 consecutive hunting days with food and lodging included depending or the ranch selected you will fly into Billings MT or Sheridan WY rent a car and make the 1 ½ to 2 ½ hr drive.
