moose are a spectacular game animal to behold. The spread on trophy
bulls can reach past the 50” mark and they may sport 15 or more points
per side. They can reach 7 ½ feet tall, and may weight over 1,400lbs.
If your looking to harvest a Shiras moose then you have come to the
right place. In Utah, R&K has several options on private land with
a limited number of guaranteed tags. Our season dates start September
1st and run through the end of October. Our past success rate has been
nearly 100%. In Wyoming all hunters are subject to the draw and it has
generally taken between 4-6 points to obtain a tag. You may also
purchase a commissioner’s or governor’s tag if you want to avoid the
draw game. Our Wyoming ranches are a great place to hunt for large
bulls. The season dates start the first of October and run through

Utah
The vast majority of ranches for Shiras moose are located in the northern part of the state. All but two are enrolled in the Utah CWMU program. This enables you to purchases your tags directly from us. On the ranches that are not in this guaranteed license program you will have two options. 1 draw the tag, or two we can purchase the tag at one of the local conservation banquets where your purchases would be tax deductible. The season dates for the CWMU any weapon Hunts are September 1st – Oct 31st. The limited draw and conservations permit have any weapon season of Sept 9th – 25th and October 10th – 28th. Guided hunts are five consecutive hunt days with food and lodging included. Hunter will fly into SLC International Airport where pick up will be arranged for you. You are hunting the northeastern part of the state. You will rent a car and make a four hr drive to the ranch. Nonresident licensing fees:$1513
Wyoming
All hunters in this state are subject to the lottery system and it takes between 4-8 points to draw for the units that are ranches are located in. You may also purchase a commissioner's moose voucher. If you are looking to bypass the draw, typically the commissioner's/ Governor’s vouchers sell between $12,000- 15,000 which is all tax deductible. The season dates are as follows: Rifle Oct 1st –Nov 15th, Archery Sept 1st 30th. Our guided hunts are five consecutive hunting days with food and lodging included. If you are hunting with us in the southwestern part of the state will fly into SLC International Airport, rent a car, and make the 2-½ hr drive to the ranch. Hunters who will be hunting the northern part of the state will fly into Sheridan or Cody, Wyoming where pickup will be arranged.
