For those hunters wanting to experience a more rugged wilderness environment, the Central Utah Ranch might just be what you have in mind. This hunting ranch, located 25 miles from Price, Utah and 2 ½ hours from the Salt Lake International Airport, is a canvas wall tent camp. Hunting begins the minute you step out the door from this superbly located camp, which features up to eight wall tents, a cooking trailer, dining tent, and a refrigerator unit for harvested animals.

The wall tents are 10’ x 16’ and house two hunters each. Outfitted with power and lights, cots with mattresses and a nearby bathroom complete with shower facility, the Central Utah Camp gives each hunter the experience of comfort, proximity to nature, and real home cooked meals. The terrain ranges from 6200’ to 9500’ in elevation, from high country desert to pine tree covered steep canyons over its 17,000 acres. Generators and a 1,000-gallon fresh water tank are on-site. Mule Deer and Elk are hunted from September 1 through October 31 including archery, muzzleloader, and rifle hunts with Utah tags guaranteed.
